NCEA Higher Performing Schools and College and Career Readiness Charts

"Now more than ever districts must focus on closing achievement gaps and raising expectations of all students so they graduate college and career ready. We must identify student groups that need the greatest improvement and use research from high performing schools to ensure each student is successful. Today we congratulate all schools that made the Just for the Kids Higher Performing Schools list."
-- Dr. Jesús Chávez, Superintendent, Round Rock ISD

Be inspired. Share success.

Congratulations to this year's NCEA Higher Performing Schools! Since 1995, NCEA (formerly Just for the Kids) has provided K-12 educators, policymakers, and the public at large with important information regarding student achievement relative to college and career readiness. Our Higher Performing Schools--those schools that consistently have more success in preparing students for college and careers than their peers that serve similar student populations--continually challenge the thought of what is possible and demonstrate their commitment to excellence and quality in education. We are proud to continue this tradition. In addition to our annual Higher Performing Schools List, we also release College and Career Readiness Charts for every public school in our partnership states. Use the search features below to get started.
