Who are the higher performing schools and districts?
Schools with similar demographics can have very different levels of student performance. NCEA developed a method to identify schools that grow their
students’ academic performance more than the performance of students in demographically similar schools. NCEA also identifies schools whose students’ performance meets NCEA College and Career Readiness Targets. In this section, NCEA showcases higher performing schools and districts and describes the methods used to identify them.
