Core Practice Institute
NCEA designed a one-day institute to help district and school leaders leverage NCEA’s research to benchmark their systems for performance improvement. The Core Practice Institute (Institute) will lead educators through a process to benchmark educator practices—a process essential to developing a coherent and research-based approach to improvement efforts.
District and school leaders will engage in a series of practice benchmarking exercises to help them pinpoint the practices within the Core Practice Framework that might be most strategic for closing any identified performance gaps. As a result of benchmarking practice against higher performing systems, participants will leave the Institute with a vision of the change they would like to see in their systems.
