CoreWork Diagnostics (CWD) allows you to compare or benchmark your educational practices to those of educators in higher performing schools—a proven process for improving performance. This benchmarking—also called the diagnostic process—will result in strategic recommendations to accelerate improvement efforts in your school.
How does the CoreWork Diagnostics process work?
Start a diagnostic.
- Begin by clicking Start a Diagnostic to the right.
- Determine what practices you want to diagnose.
- Determine who will lead the CWD process.
- Name the educators you want to include on your diagnostic team.
Gather the team's input and make the final selection for your team on each item.
- Educators who you identified for participation on the diagnostic team will be notified. Each team member will then need to spend approximately 45 minutes to respond to the CWD items.
- When all of the team's input has been collected, the leader then determines how to make the final selection for each CWD item. This final selection process may be completed individually by the CWD leader in 60 minutes or less, or as an interactive team activity of one to three hours. (The latter is recommended.)
Study the Action Report generated by your selections and incorporate the suggestions into your improvement planning.
Of course, planning, implementing, and evaluating the suggested school improvement actions will be ongoing.
