Every educator is aware of the importance of data, but the same questions still remain: What type of data are best to collect? And what do I do with this data?
Join us as we discuss with Rebecca Carson, of the Data Quality Campaign, about both why data is so vital in creating and sustaining programs that impact student performance and how educators can use this information to better support their school improvement efforts.
In this 60-minute discussion, we will answer:
- Why and what kind of data matter in assessing student performance?
- What actions should policymakers and educators take once data are collected?
- How do we bridge the gap from collection and analysis of data to educator practices?
- What are examples of districts effectively using data to affect programs, interventions, and school initiatives?
